Perfect Sunday - bake a cake and homemade ice-cream

Hello All, It was so much fun yesterday. I think best time spend with my little one and husband. I was planning to bake a cake for a very long time in the microwave. But for the fast years, I had not gone through the recipe and was just postponing it as I was too busy with my daily work. But then, yesterday, husband darling got into the mood of making ice - cream for my daughter. I was just giving them the beater and teaching them how to use it. Then, looking at my daughter's face, I thought - "well! its getting postponed from quite a few years. let me try it out again." When I told her, "Guess What!!! Mummy is going to bake a cake for all of us especially for you." Her face just lit up. That moment I wouldn't be able to describe in words. It was finally the moment arrived. I made a simple sponge cake which all of us relished. It was just yummmm. A quiet evening but an eventful. The joy of baking which had vanished somewhere, came back to me after many  man...

A Strong Willpower works wonders.

 Hi Everyone,

After the death of my paternal grandfather, my grandmother started suffering from spondylitis. She could not stand properly, and she suffered from dizziness whenever she would make an attempt. Somebody had to hold her hand and take care of her. My father took her to a doctor in our town which was small at that time, and the doctor gave her some medications, asked her to do some sitting exercises, requested her to lie down most of the time and wear a belt round her neck for the entire day until the pain and the dizziness subsides. She followed the instructions and within a year she recovered and was able to lead her life exactly like she lived prior to the illness. I had seen many people wear the belt for longer periods of time, but she stopped wearing it within a year or so. She was disciplined in her approach, but the major take away was her amazing willpower to recover. She never once gave up but always fought. I really admire her for it and hope she is happy in her heavenly abode.

Today I am bringing to you all a 2017, Polish biographical movie – Najlepszy (Breaking the Limits) based on the life of Jerzy Gorski. This young man is addicted to drugs gets more and more addicted to it along with his friends and girlfriend. Realization dawns on him after a certain incident and he resolves to quit it. It Is difficult but he decides to rectify his mistake and tries to bring his life on track. He even determines to win the Iron Man Triathlon conducted in America against the advice of his doctors. The medical staff urges his trainers to not send him to the contest as they feel that his body has become weak and fragile because of years of addiction to drugs. Next what happens you guys should watch the film and let me know your views on it. I saw it on Amazon recently.

Our mind and body play an important role in determining our willpower. If a human resolve to achieve anything and works hard towards attaining his or her goal, then there is nothing which can stop us from accomplishing it. Discipline, determination, strong mind, the ‘yes I can’ attitude, and willpower can help us carry through anything.  I hope you all will enjoy the movie and draw some inspiration from it. Tell me all about what you felt while watching the film or your own experiences of resolute. Don’t forget to comment, subscribe and follow me on Koo App and facebook.

Bye people.

Love you All,

Namitha.
