Perfect Sunday - bake a cake and homemade ice-cream

 Hello All,

It was so much fun yesterday. I think best time spend with my little one and husband. I was planning to bake a cake for a very long time in the microwave. But for the fast years, I had not gone through the recipe and was just postponing it as I was too busy with my daily work. But then, yesterday, husband darling got into the mood of making ice - cream for my daughter. I was just giving them the beater and teaching them how to use it. Then, looking at my daughter's face, I thought - "well! its getting postponed from quite a few years. let me try it out again." When I told her, "Guess What!!! Mummy is going to bake a cake for all of us especially for you." Her face just lit up. That moment I wouldn't be able to describe in words. It was finally the moment arrived. I made a simple sponge cake which all of us relished. It was just yummmm. A quiet evening but an eventful. The joy of baking which had vanished somewhere, came back to me after many  many years. Thanks to my baby and her father that's my dear husband.

  How to be different from others 1. Make decisions on your own and stick to them. Listen to the discussions going on around you. Be a good listener but go ahead with what you feel is right and make your own decision. Do not depend on others for the choices you make and be proud and hold yourself responsible for whatever choices you make. 2. Be honest to yourself. Never lie to yourself. Do not try to emulate others. Just be yourself and be proud of who you are. One should be honest not just to others but also to oneself as you yourself are answerable to your conscious  at the end of the day. 3. Accept your flaws. Not everyone is perfect. We are all humans, not superhumans or God. We must admit to ourselves the flaws that we have and try to work on improving ourselves. The elections in India are held like a festival. Every place from hotels to parks to small shops, every person talks about politics. Let it be if not who is coming to power but at least you will get some idea during a conversation that who will be shown the door by the people of this country.
