Fetured Post

My way from corporate to role as home maker and now college life!!!

As a child, I used to play games with my siblings and friends and used to be school teacher for them. Draping a shawl borrowed from my mother's wardrobe, Closing the room, I used to grab my mother's economics book and read it. I was just 7 years old then.  I used stand in front of my little brother or sometimes no one , I used to hold a pencil and teach an empty room - the subject of economics. At that time, I never had any ambitions. It was just 'teacher - teacher' game.  As I started growing up, my friends started showing keen interest in science stream as there  was IT boom in that period. My relatives all around were encouraging their children to take up either the field of medical or engineering. As this trend continued, so did the emergence of coaching classes in various forms. But I had different idea. My parents never coerced me in taking a particular specialization. They completely left it to me and this was which I am very much thankful to them. After compl...

Failures are stepping stone to success.

Hi Everyone,

I had developed this passion for starting a blog way back in 2012. But it has materialized only now in 2021. Long time…. I do not know what I was waiting for. Maybe I was waiting for the right type of topic to choose to write about. But there is no right or wrong topic in the world of blogging. It is just what you feel, what you want to share and whether the content is good enough to keep the other person out there engaged. Somethings can take awfully long time to get through. I hope I am not boring you guys.

Today I am bringing to you all a movie based on a true story of a Padma Shri Awardee - the fourth highest civilian award conferred by India to its citizens who have achieved something exceptional in their respective fields.  This movie is based on the invention of Laskhmi Asu Machine which reduced the efforts required by the weavers in Poochampally. This great feat was achieved by Mr. Chintakindi Mallesham of Sharajpet, Telangana – who was awarded the Padma Shri Award in 2017.

Mallesham is a 2019 Telugu film which I saw thanks to Netflix. It is based on the life and struggles of this man who takes more than seven years to construct the machine. Everyone in the village laugh and mock at him and call him a fake engineer. His father goes on to the extent of even burning the machine, but nothing stops him. Even though he is a school dropout he manages to understand the nitty gritty of the machine building process. He loses hope at times, but he never gives up. That is the crux of this film – Never ever give up. This is the mantra we all should adopt in our life. We may fail an exam, lose a job, or do not get promoted. It does not mean that we give up and hang our boots. No, my friends. The way to success starts right there. When we fail to collect ourselves together and move ahead - that is real failure. Life is a challenge, and we should all accept it and march ahead. We adults should learn from little children who fall umpteen number of times when learning to walk but never concede defeat. Let us all remember, we have defeated millions of sperms to get there, in our mother’s womb and struggled hard to come out. So, my only message to all of you is do not lose heart. Naysayers are there all around us, but we should listen to ourselves and thrive to achieve what we want.  Let us not term the hurdles in our life as ‘failures’ but why not label them as ‘speed breakers’ which we find everywhere in the road.  It is time for us to drive ourselves ahead of the speed breakers and reach the destination.

I hope you all liked my post today and thoroughly enjoyed it. I would be waiting to hear from you through comments, e-mails, and messages. If you like it tweet, share and follow me and also follow me on facebook, twitter, and Koo App.

Bye guys.

Love you All,

Namitha.
